Hotel Reservations:
We have a block of rooms available for Monday and Tuesday nights at $159 per night.
Note: Reservations after Friday, June 26th, will be provided based on space and rate availability. Rates do not include 8.0% New York State Sales Tax, 5% Occupancy Tax, and 5% Local Tax. If you are tax-exempt please let them know when you call.

Participants will:
- Understand how federal advocacy works
- Have strategies for effective engagement by library systems
- Experience mock advocacy meetings
- Know what to say—and what to avoid—in meetings with legislators
- Discuss lessons learned from advocacy experiences

communication and working well together
